In the framework of the  Project Organic Food Organic Mood (OFOM) – co-funded by the European Union and by the Italian State  [www.ofom.it] – we organized together with Bioagricooop s.c.r.l. the participation of Italian companies in major food Exhibitions in China. The project started in February 2012. Below the events of the first year: 

BioFach SHANGHAI (24th-26th  May 2012):

– Organization of a  joint booth of 36 square meters

– Seminar presentation of exhibited products for Chinese buyers

– Tasting event for all the buyers

– Awarded as Best Stand of the Fair Pavillion

FHC EXHIBITION SHANGHAI (14th– 16th  November 2012):

– Organization of a  joint booth of 36 square meters

– Seminar presentation of exhibits for Chinese buyers

– Cooking Demonstration with selected buyers in the prestigious 5 Star Hotel “Kerry Hotel” Shanghai Pudong

– Permanent exhibition and presentation of products at EU booth

– Presentation of the organoleptic properties of extra virgin olive oil at the Olive oil workshop organized  by the European Union

The staff managed  all the details of each event, from the planning to the execution phase, to the management of contacts to ensure the development of trade relations between buyers and Italian companies.

The first year ended with the organization of the incoming, i.e., the invitation by the Consortium of 8 Chinese importers in Italy. Italian companies had the opportunity to meet buyers thanks to the organization of B 2 B meetings that took place on 18 – 19 and 20 February 2013.

From 21 to 23 February 2013 importers got directly in touch with  the reality of Italian food through a guided visit of organic farms in Sicily.

During the second year we have organized the following events:

Participation in SIAL Fair Shanghai (7-9 May 2013): Consortium’s staff, with a stand of 36 square meters within the International Exhibition Hall, introduced Italian products at the fair and organized a cooking demonstration, again in the prestigious location of Kerry Hotel Pudong Shanghai
