NUGARETO ORGANIC WINES

White wine “Canto”

CANTO
Aromas of flowers and fruits appear with intensity from organic grapes of sauvignon blanc. The harmonious and complex taste expresses the unique blend of the vineyards in the woods of Nugareto, on the hills of Bologna.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Type: Bologna hills, White, 2017 Grape Harvest
Alcoholic Strength: 12% vol.
Grapes: 100% Sauvignon blanc
Area of Production: Vineyards of property.
Location: Nugareto, Sasso Marconi
Type of installation: wire frame method with guyot at distances
of 2.30 x 0.90 and GDC
Yield per hectare: 3.0 T/ha
Wine-making: cold maceration of the grapes pressed for 3 hours, soft pressing in white, using only the first pressing juice fermented into wine vessels made of steel at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C with selected yeast.
Refinement: In stainless steel containers on its own yeasts for 6 months.

SENSORY ANALYSIS
Appearance: Light and bright yellow with greenish reflections
Nose: Large and complex with hints of tropical fruit, gooseberry and elderflower
Taste: Full-bodied and supported by a good acidulous structure. Pleasant aftertaste and right intensity.

ADVICE
Storage temperature: 12-14 ° C
Serving temperature: 8-10 ° C
Serving suggestions: It goes well with seafood risotto, grilled fish, omelettes with herbs, grilled vegetables and asparagus.

GIULLARE
Sparkling and festive bubbles descend from the hill in the woods of Nugareto, and give life to a pleasant wine to share with your friends to make any occasion special.

Yield per hectare: 5.0 T/ha
Wine-making: white, soft pressing of the grapes
Maturation: in stainless steel containers on its lees for 6 months.

SENSORY ANALYSIS
Appearance: Pale yellow with bright straw reflections.
Nose: clear and direct with aromas of white flowers and terpene fruity apricot and peach.
Taste: delicate, elegant, appropriately balanced with acidity that blend harmoniously with the fruity structure.

ADVICE
Storage temperature: 12-14 ° C
Serving temperature: 6-8 ° C
Serving suggestions: with light appetizers, soups, asparagus, fathead minnow, shellfish, white meat. It can be served as an aperitif as well.

Notes of freshness and songs of joy come from the vineyards hidden in the woods of Nugareto, to offer you a wine of character, full of elegance and harmony.

Alcoholic Strength: 13% vol.
Grapes: 100% Grechetto Gentile historically known as Pignoletto.
Area of Production: Vineyards of property.
Location: Nugareto, Sasso Marconi
Type of installation: wire frame method with guyot at distances of 3,00 x 0.80
Yield per hectare: 4 T/ha
Wine-making: white, soft pressing of the grapes.
Maturation: in stainless steel containers on its lees for 6 months.

SENSORY ANALYSIS
Appearance: golden yellow with pale yellow glazes, bright.
Nose: exuberant fragrance of acacia flowers with fruity hints of apple and peach.
Taste: full flavor, accompanied by a large and elegant crisp and pleasant acidity.

Storage temperature: 12-14 ° C
Serving temperature: 8 ° C
Serving suggestions: with several appetizers, ham and sausages, fresh cheeses, pasta with red sauces, fathead minnow, shellfish and white meat.

PETRONIANO
The enchantment of the golden bubbles has an ancient formula preserved in the woods of Nugareto. Today, that same magic, it is still pleasantly enticing.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Type: Bologna hills, Brut, 2016 Grape Harvest
Alcoholic Strength: 12% vol.
Grapes: 60% Grechetto Gentile (historically known as Pignoletto), 40% Chardonnay
Area of Production: Vineyards of property.
Location: Nugareto, Sasso Marconi
Type of installation: wire frame method with guyot at distances of 2.30 x 0.90
Winemaking: The grapes Chardonnay and Grechetto Gentile, after an accurate manual sorting, are vinified separately. Presses are loaded with the whole grape and soft pressing, using just the first pressing(yield: about 45% of the weight of the grapes). Alcoholic fermentation in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18 ° C with the use of specific yeasts.
Refinement: In stainless steel containers on its own yeasts for 5 months and then Pignoletto and Chardonnay are put together giving birth to the wine that will soon become Bologna Sparkling.
Second fermentation: the second fermentation took place in an autoclave at a temperature of 13-14 ° C and lasted for thirty days, after the champagne has remained in contact with its yeasts for another month.

SENSORY ANALYSIS
Appearance: Straw yellow with light reflections and fine perlage and persistent. Nose: Delicate, floral and fruity scent with pronounced golden apple and grapefruit. Taste: Elegant, fruity, fresh and pleasant persistence and consistency.


ADVICE

Storage temperature: 12° C. Serving temperature: 6-8° C. Serving suggestions: Excellent as an aperitif, perfect accompaniment to light appetizers and delicate dishes based on fish, shellfish and white meats.

 

White wine Brut “Petroniano”
Red wine “Monello”
MONELLO
Picks up the scent of the woods of Nugareto and releases its energy, this wine is the free expression of the cuisine of Bologna.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Type: Bologna hills, Red Bologna DOC, 2015 Grape Harvest
Alcoholic Strength: 13.5% vol.
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 55%, Merlot 25% and Barbera 20%
Area of Production: Vineyards of property. Location: Nugareto, Sasso Marconi
Type of installation: wire frame method with guyot at distances of 2,50 x 0.90 Yield per hectare: 6 T/ha
Wine-making: red, with maceration on the skins for 6 days
Maturation: 90% in stainless steel containers, and 10% in small oak containers.

SENSORY ANALYSIS
Appearance: intense ruby red with violet nuances.
Nose: elegant aromas, pleasantly herbaceous and with shades of raspberry, blackcurrant and violet.
Taste: It is young wine, exuberant, well-structured with a perception of elegant tannins and a lasting aroma.

ADVICE
Storage temperature: 14-15 ° C
Serving temperature: 14-16 ° C
Serving suggestions: recommended for red and white meat dishes, roasts, loins of lamb and medium-aged cheeses.
